A bumbling, well-meaning, but incompetent dad (Dennis Pratt) is a fish out of water even in North Dakota, his home. While he gets by working part time for the county office in hazardous materials, his wife is a go-getter in the city. The book is droll, populated by misfits and nips at people who are no better than they think they are. Entertaining and diverting, this book is perfect for the beach, the plane or a staycation.
